Hi Church,
We hope you’re having an incredible summer, so far! Over the next few weeks we are launching the BIG 4 summer dates, as follows;
1.
August Bank Holiday weekend (31
st August) we are going to practice a
Sabbath Week. Cathy Burton will be leading us in reflective worship and Jon Mark Comer the author of ‘The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry’ will be speaking to us on sabbath. We will have just the one service online at 10am. The teams over this past year have been phenomenal, they’ve been united and gone the extra mile every week. For me sabbath isn’t so much about having a week out but having week up, it’s about regaining trust, rest, and confidence in the fact that it’s Jesus who builds the church.
2.
On the 13
th September we will have a
Vision Sunday, which will be ‘LIVE’ online and on the green! We will be celebrating beach baptisms that have taken place, and we’ll also be having our graduation blessing as the pre-school move up to Kids Church and juniors move up to Youth Church. We will also be looking to get some incredible food trucks in.
3.
Sunday the 20
th September, we are launching the
Growth Track. If you are new to church or feel it’s time to get re-envisioned about God's purpose for your life, we will be meeting every week for four weeks after church for a meal, chat and a short time of fellowship. It’s also a brilliant opportunity to meet some of the team and hear about the vision of the church.
4.
We are also launching the
‘Big Church Take Home’. We don’t want anyone to be alone watching church. So, we have a team of Pastors who would love to come to you and watch the service with you (even at a 2-metre distance), and why not throw in a brunch as well!? We just don’t want anyone to remain alone in this season. Please email us at connect@newlifechurch.me or speak to your life group leaders for more information.
We love you lots, we miss you!
Have a great rest of the summer!
Blessings,
Pastors Matt & Vivi
PS; Keep Praying
- Please keep praying with us for work for those amongst us who are unemployed. Also, pray for wisdom for business leaders to be able to steer their staff and employees through these difficult waters.
